1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This privacy policy explains how i2p30m (“we”, “us”) handles information in the app Egg Song (Kokodak in Polish, the “App”) and on this website. We are the data controller for the processing described here. You can reach us at any time at i2p30mk@gmail.com.
The short version: the App is a notebook that lives on your phone. We never receive what you write in it. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting.
2. Information that stays on your phone
Everything you enter is saved only on your device, in the App’s private storage. It is never sent to us:
- egg counts per day and notes on the chart;
- your hens – name, breed, hatch date, photo, and the archive with date and reason;
- costs, care tasks with their done log, and egg sales with buyer names you type in;
- photos and files you attach – the App keeps its own copy, so deleting an entry deletes its photos too;
- settings – such as the language and whether Pro is unlocked.
Buyer names in the sales log are whatever you type (for example “Mrs Ellis”); they stay on your phone like everything else.
Reminders are scheduled by the App on the phone itself (local notifications); nothing goes through a server.
Exports. When you create a PDF or CSV and share it, it goes where you choose (e-mail, messenger, cloud drive). From then on that copy is handled by you and the service you picked.
Backups. Your phone’s own backup (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android) may include the App’s data, stored under your Apple or Google account and their terms. We have no access to it.
You can delete single entries in the App, or everything by uninstalling it.
3. Permissions
The App asks for a permission only when you first use the feature that needs it, and works without it if you say no:
- Notifications – for care reminders, scheduled on the phone.
- Camera and photos – only when you add a photo of a hen or a receipt yourself.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
The App is free to download and offers an optional one-time purchase (“Egg Song Pro”).
Payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your name, e-mail address, card or billing address. Apple and Google act as independent controllers: Apple Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy.
Purchase verification. To check that a purchase is valid and to let you restore it on another phone, the App uses RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) as our processor. The App contacts RevenueCat only when you open the Pro screen or restore purchases. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID created on the device; the store receipt and transaction details (product, date, price, currency, store country); and technical connection data (IP address, platform, system, App and SDK version). We send it nothing about your records, and it is configured not to collect advertising identifiers.
5. What we never do
- No advertising of any kind and no advertising SDKs.
- No analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers – the App never asks for tracking permission.
- No accounts, no server of ours, no copy of your records anywhere but your phone.
- No selling, sharing or profiling of personal data.
6. When you contact us
If you e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you and to fix what you report, and keep the conversation for up to 24 months after the last message, unless we need it longer to establish or defend legal claims. Please send only what is needed. Our e-mail provider stores messages on our behalf as a processor.
7. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Images are served from our own domain, and there are no forms.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. These logs are kept for a short period set by Vercel and we do not use them to identify visitors.
8. Legal bases (GDPR)
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Verifying, delivering and restoring purchases | Anonymous app user ID, receipt, connection data | Performance of a contract – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Preventing purchase fraud | Same as above | Legitimate interests – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR |
| Answering you | E-mail address, message | Legitimate interests – Article 6(1)(f), or steps at your request – Article 6(1)(b) GDPR |
| Running and securing this website | Server logs | Legitimate interests – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR |
9. Recipients and international transfers
We share data only with RevenueCat (purchases), Vercel (website) and our e-mail provider – each bound by a data processing agreement or acting under its own published terms as described above. Apple and Google process purchase data as independent controllers. We never sell data.
RevenueCat and Vercel are based in the United States. Where personal data may leave the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the transfer is covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. How long we keep data
- Your records on the phone: until you delete them or uninstall the App. The App never deletes your evidence on its own.
- Purchase records at RevenueCat: for as long as the App is available, so you can restore purchases, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Support e-mails: up to 24 months after the last message.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Write to i2p30mk@gmail.com; we reply within one month. Your records are already in your hands – the App exports them as PDF or CSV.
To delete purchase records, send us the order number from your store receipt (Apple “Order ID”, or Google Play “GPA.…”). Deleting them does not cancel your purchase: “Restore purchases” will unlock it again later.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority where you live or work.
If you live in California or another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law: we do not sell or share personal information.
12. Children
The App is made for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children – and since the App sends us none of your records, nobody’s data reaches us through it.
13. Security
The best protection is not having the data at all. Your records stay in the App’s private storage on your phone, protected by your phone’s lock. All connections from the App and to this website are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data – for example if a future version adds sharing between family members – we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect, and mention it in the App’s update notes.
